Villegas speaks about a request made for the CBCP to mediate in the peace talks between the government of the Republic of the Philippines (GPH) and the National Democratic Front of the Philippines. Bishop Villegas did not reveal who made that request. Did the NDFP ever make such a request for the CBCP to mediate in peace talks?

In Remembrance of Arnold Jaramillio, hero and martyr. He was among those murdered in the Lacub massacre. The photo below shows that in the mid-1990s he visited the NDF Information Office in Utrecht. Others in the photo with Arnold Jaramillio are Joma Sison, the late Antonio Zumel, Rev, Cesar Taguba, Luis Jalandoni and Coni Ledesma.
