WOMEN OF THE WORLD, UNITE
AGAINST IMPERIALIST GLOBALIZATION

By Prof. Jose Maria Sison
Chairperson
International League of Peoples’ Struggle
March 8, 2014

Imperialism is destroying the lives of women. It is aggravating the exploitation of women and intensifying attacks on women’s rights. Through the quintuple  neoliberal policies of pressing down wages, liberalization,  privatization, deregulation and denationalization, imperialism has reversed whatever gains the working women’s movement has gained in more than a century of struggles. This is the context of our International Women’s Day Commemoration this year.

KM@50: PAGPAPATULOY NG ADBOKASYA
PARA SA TUNAY NA REPORMANG AGRARYO

Ni Jose Maria Sison
Tagapangulong Tagapagtatag, Kabataang Makabayan

MESSAGE TO THE FORUM “KM@50: MAGHIMAGSIK AY MAKATARUNGAN

By Prof. Jose Maria Sison
Founding Chairman, Kabataang Makabayan
February 12, 2014

Dear Fellow Activists,

Thank you for requesting me to address a message to your forum concerning the Kabataang Makabayan.  I am happy, as I presume,  that you are already in the process of preparing  for the celebration of the 50th anniversary of this glorious youth organization, which has played such a great role in Philippine history up to now.

It is appropriate that you recall the KM in connection with the current celebration of the First Quarter Storm of 1970 and the Diliman Commune of 1971.  In these events, the KM and other youth organizations brought to an unprecedented high point the patriotic and progressive youth movement that had developed in the entire 1960s.

At the Mirror Centre, Amsterdam, 9 February 2014

Dear comrades, friends and compatriot,

140210JMS01

First of all, I thank the organizers  and all of you for coming.  I am overwhelmed and humbled by this celebration.  I came to this event, thinking that I would sit back and enjoy myself most of the time.  But Julie has made a proposal to further activate me in connection with the revitalization and expansion of the work of the Center for Social Studies.  I am thus reminded that there is no sitting back and no retirement for revolutionaries.
