This chronology of the persecution of Prof. Jose Maria Sison by the Philippine, US and Dutch governments originally extended to 18 August 2007. It is now updated as to include the arbitrary arrest and detention of Prof. Sison from 28 August 2007 onwards by the Dutch government in collaboration with the Philippine and US governments. It also covers the seizures of publications, documents, computers, digital files, bank statements and other properties in raids conducted by the Dutch government on the office of the Stichting NDF Informatie Bureau and the home of the panelists, consultants and staffers of the Negotiating Panel of the National Democratic Front of the Philippines (NDFP).

Op grond van de uitspraak van het Europese Hof van 30 september 2009 is de naam van Prof. Sison verwijderd van de terroristenlijst en is zijn bescheiden bankrekening weer vrijgegeven. De uitspraak is op 10 december 2009 onherroepelijk en uitvoerbaar geworden.

Through its judgment of 30 September 2009, the European Court has removed the name of Prof. Jose Maria Sison from the terrorist listing and has unfrozen his small bank account. The judgment has become final and executory since 10 December 2009.

We, the International Committee DEFEND, hereby condemn the long-running scheme of Philippine and Dutch government authorities at the highest level to oppress and criminalize Prof. Jose Maria Sison by subjecting him to false charges of murder against him and to an endless politically-motivated criminal investigation.
