US AMBASSADOR KENNEY IS LYING ABOUT US INVOLVEMENT IN MOA-AD SHAM
Saturday, 16 August 2008
US ambassador to the Philippines Kristie Kenney is blatantly lying by claiming that she was merely invited to witness the aborted signing of the Memorandum of Agreement on Ancestral Domain (MOA-AD), that she was ignorant of its content and that the US government had nothing to do with the GRP-MILF peace negotiations nor with the controversial MOA-AD.

PRETENSE AT GENEROSITY WITH FULL MALICE BY US IMPERIALISM AND THE ARROYO REGIME

The National Democratic Front of the Philippines (NDFP) has consistently supported the Moro people's right to self-determination. This ranges from the right to regional autonomy in a nonoppressive state to the right to secede from the oppressive state that exists in the Philippines. Even an individual who finds himself or herself oppressed by a state has the right to separate from it.

THE LIES OF ARROYO ADD INSULT TO INJURY BUT THE PEOPLE ARE FIGHTING BACK
By Prof. Jose Maria Sison Chief Political Consultant, National Democratic Front of the Philippines July 26, 2008
The fake president Gloria M. Arroyo has such a long record of lying that no one expects her to describe the real state of the nation and indicate the solutions to the problems that have grown terribly worse under her regime. She is ever more determined to lie in a vain attempt to evade responsibility for the extremely aggravated suffering of the Filipino people. But reality cries far louder and clearer than her lies. These add insult to injury. And the outraged people become ever more resolute and relentless in their struggle.
This was the message of Satur Ocampo in a memorable paper, “U.P. will forge through risk-filled neoliberal terrain; so will militant activism persists: An Outsider’s View of University of the Philippines,” one of the U.P. Centennial Lectures series in Diliman. The Bayan Muna congressman spoke about the historic role of the militant youth in the self-renewal of the national democratic movement—which today “is very much alive.”

ILPS: Inspiring Peoples to Fight for a New and Better World Interview with Prof. Jose Maria Sison on the International League of Peoples' Struggle (ILPS)
The International League of Peoples' Struggle (ILPS) is today the most outstanding and largest anti-imperialist and democratic formation of global scale. It has attracted to its fold a great number of member organizations, with individual members running into millions, from the ranks of workers and peasants and the middle social strata in various countries and continents. It has become a rallying point because of its well-known resoluteness, militancy, self-reliance and effective campaigns.
Amid the celebration of the University of the Philippines' 100th year, I am posting this article by Prof. Simbulan to aid us in reviewing the university's role in nurturing a neocolonial and semifedual Philippine society, and to inspire us to continue to struggle for a university that truly serves the interests of the Filipino masses.

Part III Interview
GRP-NDFP Peace Negotiations
Q1: What is the position of the NDFP on the question of resuming the formal talks in the peace negotiations with the GRP? What is the key step towards overcoming all the impediments?
JMS: The NDFP is always ready to resume the formal talks in the peace negotiations with the GRP in accordance with The Hague Joint Declaration and subsequent agreements, especially the Joint Agreement on Safety and Immunity Guarantees (JASIG), the Joint Agreement on the Formation, Sequence and Operationalization of the Reciprocal Working Committees (Joint Agreement on RWCs), the Comprehensive Agreement on Respect for Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law (CARHRIHL) and the Oslo Joint Statements I and II.

Part II Interview
People's War in the Philippines
Q1: The Arroyo regime has vowed to destroy or reduce the CPP, NPA and NDFP to the inconsequential before she steps down in 2010? Is this possible?
JMS: The Arroyo regime is daydreaming about the impossible. History shows that the Marcos regime could not destroy the revolutionary forces with 14 years of fascist dictatorship when these were still far smaller and far weaker than now. Instead, they grew bigger and stronger. The objective conditions now have become far more favorable for the Filipino people and the revolutionary forces to wage armed revolution. The crisis of the world capitalist system and that of the semi-colonial and semi-feudal ruling system have become far worse than before.

Part I Interview
The Oppression of Prof. Jose Maria Sison
Q1: In what capacity do you answer my questions?
JMS: As a Filipino and as a member of humankind. As a student and teacher of political science. As the chief political consultant of the NDFP in peace negotiations with the GRP.

US Gov't Should Follow Suit From Mandela by Removing Sison, CPP, NPA Off Terrorist List As Well

The US Chapter of Bagong Alyansang Makabayan, or BAYAN USA, a national alliance of Filipino organizations in the United States expresses heartfelt congratulations to South African freedom-fighter Nelson Mandela over his recent dropping from the a dated US immigration watchlist of possible terrorists. The US State Department has also dropped Mandela's organization, the African National Congress (ANC) from the same list after more than decades of being tagged. This precedes the Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO) list developed by the US State Department after September 11, 2001. BAYAN USA also calls on the US government to follow suit with this momentous victory by dropping Professor Jose Maria Sison, another freedom-fighter and political refugee in the Netherlands, as well as his former organizations the Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP) and its armed wing, the New People's Army (NPA), off the FTO listing as well.
